About me
August 2013, I was diagnosed with advanced (stage IV) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), Adenocarcinoma (ROS1+) with metastasis to my brain. I was 47 years old with three children; girl 10, boy 12, and my oldest son 17. Married to the love of my life for 20 years.
I had no family history of cancer of any kind. Was active and for the most part, ate healthy and never smoked. Yet, I was told I have lung cancer.
This Blog is about such a dire and gut wrenching diagnosis, how cancer stole everything in a moment, and in return gave me and continues to give me, glimpses of the Devine.
I encourage you to explore without any judgement, simply experience, find hope and perhaps be inspired and filled with possibilities.
